IRS classify Bitcoins as property not currency

By John Glenday The US Internal Revenue Service has moved to classify Bitcoin, and other virtual currencies, as property (not currency) for tax purposes. A change in designation would see owners become liable to capital gains taxes applicable on ordinary income or assets – as well as gains and losses made on sales or exchanges. Disney’s The Muppets take over Ocean Outdoor’s Eat Street at Westfield London

By Natalie Mortimer Disney has launched an interactive digital out of home campaign at Westfield London starring members of the public, to promote the imminent launch of its new musical comedy, Muppets Most Wanted. In a “movie media first” Disney used the wi-fi capability of Ocean Outdoor’s Eat Street screen at London’s Westfield Centre to superimpose pictures of the public onto a live Most Wanted poster, and together with its online #badfrog campaign directed shoppers to the movie’s promotional website. Hungry builders discuss gender politics and feminist theory in new Snickers ad

By Ishbel Macleod A candid camera-style experiment for Snickers, created by Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, saw a bunch of builders calling out to female passers-by – providing positive and empowering compliments, as well as discussing feminist theory. Continuing the ‘You’re not you when you’re hungry’ Snickers campaign, the ad shows the actors pretending to be builders shocking passers-by with the unexpected remarks.
