BitPay has announced that it has been working with PayPal to help the firm accept Bitcoin payments from customers.
Bitcoin’s payment processing group earlier this week announced its partnership with the eBay-owned payment firm – meaning that the crypto-currency could be accepted at the online auction house in the near future.
The deal will see PayPal users, in ownership of a Bitcoin wallet, capable of using Bitcoins to purchase games, music, videos, news, ebooks, and other digital content. The service will be rolled out first in North America before being subsequently expanded worldwide.
