Twitter has unveiled its new embedded video widget, which allows users to post Twitter-hosted videos on the web.
The company announced the capability on its developer blog, where it said video embeds are available for videos captured and uploaded through Twitter’s applications for iOS and Android as well as Twitter Amplify partners.
Users can embed videos in a similar fashion to embedding tweets. After clicking on the “Embed Video” button, a video can be posted by copying and pasting the generated HTML markup to a website, which will display the video-focused embed.
