The car rental industry is a competitive one, with numerous international companies wrestling for a serious stake in the British market. Enterprise has invested heavily in its ‘UK Car Hire with American Customer Service’ television advertising campaign across the UK for some years now and after being absent from this medium Avis has resurrected its iconic ‘we try harder’ campaign, first aired 50 years ago.
Given these big brands are formidable, we wonder who is driving away with the UK consumer market?
