McAfee research indicates large increase in the number of Indian children using 'inappropriate' websites

The number of children in India logging on to ‘inappropriate’ websites has surpassed the number in 13 countries, which includes the likes of US and UK, as reported by McAfee.

According the survey conducted, more than half the Indian parents claimed to have discovered that their child visited an inappropriate website. This was highest when compared to 13 other countries, including Australia (26%), Brazil (45%), France (41%), the US (37%) and the UK (23%). However, 50 per cent parents said they had argued with their child on the issue of bringing these gadgets to bed.
