Quibi/NBC News pairing targets Millenials with daily mobile news bulletins

NBC News is chasing after the Millenials market with a partnership with fledgling OTT service Quibi to bring two original daily news shows to viewers by April 2020.

The news bulletins, titled Daily Essentials, will stream each morning and evening seven days a week exclusively on the Quibi mobile viewing platform.

Each bulletin will bring people up to speed with the world in just six minutes of material curated and produced by NBC News complete with its own hosts, dedicated correspondents and original content – all filmed at a purpose-built studio in New York.
