BBC offers Top Gear, Teletubbies and Doctor Who to North Korea

The BBC is locked in negotiations with Korean Central Television to screen three of its biggest brands; Top Gear, Teletubbies and Doctor Who, in the totalitarian state as part of a diplomatic initiative from the Foreign Office.
It will see the likes of Jeremy Clarkson, not known for his diplomacy, co-opted as a cultural ambassador as a means of improving understanding of the outside world within the hermit state.
Their output will be strictly edited and censored however with at least a third of all screen time devoted to propaganda in praise of North Korea and its Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un.
