BBC to mark 100 years since World War One by reporting archived content 'live' through modern channels

Saturday, 28 June marks 100 years since the start of World War One, and the BBC is set to promote archived content from the day using modern techniques in order to create 1914 – live.

1914 Live will unfold through a live blog at bbc.co.uk/ww1 from 9.30am-2pm and will include ‘live’ video from across Europe, such as on-the-ground video reports from Sarajevo (where the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand took place) throughout the day.
