GroupM has promoted Colin Barlow to the newly created role of chief operating officer for GroupM Global.
Previously holding the role of global chief financial officer, Barlow will now contribute to the oversight of trading operations.
He will also be expected to lead financial oversight, acquisitions, corporate partnerships, as well as the operational efficiencies of tools, systems and processes.
Barlow will report into Dominic Proctor, president of GroupM Global.
Proctor said of the appointment: “We have ambitious plans to continue to grow our business rapidly, and to do so, it has been clear to me that we need to strengthen the management team.
