Stephen Colbert steps into Letterman's shoes on CBS Late Show

CBS said on Thursday that Stephen Colbert will become the host of ‘The Late Show’ when David Letterman retires next year.
Colbert, who hosts “The Colbert Report” on the cable channel Comedy Central, signed a five-year agreement with the network, CBS’ CEO Les Moonves said in a statement.

Stephen Colbert is to replace David Letterman on the CBS Late Show when Letterman steps down next year, the network has announced. The news is a disappointment for Scotsman Craig Ferguson, who has made a big success on the Late Late show, becoming an American citizen in the process.
