The Drum’s man at the Old Bailey James Doleman has been named as one of the top 50 reporters on social media by journalism trade title Press Gazette.

Doleman, who continues to provide The Drum with exhaustive coverage of the Rebekah Brooks and Andy Coulson phone-hacking trial, was recognised as one of “50 reporters who use social media well and are well worth following”.

Barring a brief absence owing to illness last week, Doleman has been reporting from what has been described as the ‘trial of the century’ every day since it got underway on 28 October last year.
