Twitter CEO Dick Costolo says anyone encouraging inauthentic behaviour on the platform is committing 'a tragedy'

Twitter CEO Dick Costolo told an audience that anybody who did anything to encourage inauthentic behaviour on his platform was committing “a tragedy,” while addressing an audience in London as part of his first visit to the UK in two years.

He was quizzed at the event by presenter Clare Balding – somebody Twitter would no doubt class as a VIT (Very Important Tweeter, yes they really did use that term) on how the social media platform was faring after last year’s IPO.
