3D printer comes to the rescue of beakless penguin
A 3D printer could give a beakless penguin in Warsaw zoo a new lease of life after Polish scientists intervened to see if they could help.
Bartek Jarkiewicz found out about the penguin’s plight after approaching the zoo to see if there was any opportunity to provide his MTT Polska firm’s 3D printing capabilities. When the zoo asked if it was possible to create a new beak for one of their penguins, he set off on the project.
