4Chan promises to comply with US copyright laws following celebrity nudes scandal

4Chan has said that it will enact a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) policy, so that illegally shared material will be taken down if the site receives notification.

This comes after the site was the first place where pictures of hundreds of pictures of nude celebrities were posted, following a massive hack.

At the moment, the fact that there is a limit to the number of posts shown on 4Chan means that content has often disappeared by the time that demands to take the content down are made.
