Adidas has revealed an all-black kit with an Eastern twist, designed by Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto, for defending champions Real Madrid to wear during Champions League fixtures.

The kit, brainchild of designer Yamamoto, was created to merge Madrid’s “greatness and determination” with mythical Japanese beasts, to demonstrate the team’s power.

The Eastern Dragon King will be imprinted on the front of the shirt, interlaced with the Dragon Bird, a hardy animal capable of surviving hostile environments – to show the Galactico’s resilience in the face of adversity.
