Alan Cumming , the Scots actor now a huge name across America from his role in the Good Wife to his starring role in Cabaret , has made a piss-taking video mocking the US U.S. Food and Drink Administration, who advise ending the ban on blood donations from gay and bisexual men – but insist that these men must remain celibate for a least a year in order to be eligible donors.

The rationale, says AdAge, is that sexually-active homosexual men are at greater risk of contracting and transmitting HIV.
