Amazon's 'Pass My Parcel' service to offer UK consumers same-day pickup
Amazon has launched a new same-day pick-up service in the UK as a result of a partnership with newspaper distributing group Smiths News.
The ‘Pass My Parcel’ initiative will see packages delivered to over 6,000 locations, including 500 newsagents, across the country on the same day they are ordered with Amazon claiming it will expand the number of drop-off points in the coming year.
Amazon Prime subscribers will receive the service for free until 2015 with orders made before 4pm delivered to the selected outlet later that day.
