American tourist tweets appeals for rescue from locked Waterstones store

An American tourist has had an eventful trip to London after becoming trapped in a locked Waterstones store when staff locked up for the night, leaving him to desperately tweet appeals for rescue to the stores Twitter account.

David Willis claims to have been in an upstairs section of the store at closing time, unaware that lights were being switched off and doors locked below him.
