Tim Cook may be in the driving seat at Apple in more ways than one soon after the technology head hinted at the ‘massive change’ he predicts will sweep the automotive industry soon.

Apple is developing a form of driverless electric car and the latest comment will do nothing to scotch that supposition, although as ever no official confirmation has been forthcoming.

Speaking at the Wall Street Journal’s WSJDLive conference, Cook said: “It would seem like there will be massive change in that industry, massive change.
