Publicis Groupe has announced that Arthur Sadoun, head of Publicis Communications, will replace Maurice Levy as chief executive of Publicis Groupe on 1 June.

Levy will take on the role of chairman of the Supervisory Board.

“First of all, I’d like to warmly congratulate Arthur,” Levy said in a statement. “I am extremely happy with this choice, which is the most appropriate and judicious for the future of our Groupe, and congratulate Arthur warmly.
