Banksy, Idris Elba and Elbow have come together to lead a creative collaboration marking the third anniversary of the conflict in Syria on 13 March.

Banksy has re-worked his iconic ‘girls with a red balloon’ image to reflect the war, while Elbow contributed exclusive music for a #WithSyria animation directed and produced by RSA Films, and Idris Elba provided the voice over.

Banksy’s red balloon symbol has been adopted at widespread vigils marking the anniversary, as the bloody conflict in Syria continues, with many people posting images to Twitter.

The global PR campaign highlighting the ongoing bloodshed was orchestrated by Freuds.
