BBC advertising account up for review
The BBC is undertaking a review of its advertising account as it begins to “inform thinking” about the future direction of its advertising.
The account is currently held by Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe, appointed in 2011 following a competitive pitch.
The account had a lapse option in 2013 which expired with the agency retaining the business until the present review was announced. The agency has confirmed it intends to pitch to retain the business.
“We’re proud of the work we’ve done for the BBC and hope to carry the relationship on for many years,” said Ben Kay, RKCR’s chief executive.
