Bing partners with CNN on ‘real time’ election coverage

Microsoft’s search engine Bing is to partner with American broadcaster CNN to offer viewers ‘real-time’ feedback on its election coverage.

The tie-up will see Bing Pulse offer viewers the opportunity to vote on broadcasts covering political developments from the 2014 US elections through to the 2016 presidential elections.

It is the first time that the technology will be used as part of the channel’s news coverage and will enable viewers to ‘vote’ every five seconds to relay their reactions to what is occurring on screen.
