Blinkbox brand scrapped as it becomes TalkTalk TV Store

TalkTalk has scrapped the Blinkbox brand and rebranded it TalkTalk TV Store a year after it paid Tesco £25m for the film and TV streaming service.

The expected move follows an interview with TalkTalk by The Drum earlier this year when TalkTalk managing director, consumer, Tristia Harrison said Blinkbox would be assimilated into the TalkTalk TV family branding.

The service itself hasn’t changed, with users still able to rent or purchase individual movies and TV shows as before without a subscription.
