Bored cyclist pedals GPS bike pattern around southern England

A fastidious cyclist has navigated a GPS drawn bike route around the New Forest in honour of the famous Nazca Lines in Peru, a series of artistic motifs that can only be viewed from the air.

David Taylor harnessed modern technology in the form of Strava, a tracking app, to draw his own offering to the gods, cycling 187 miles between Poole and Southampton to recreate the image of a crude bicycle.

Speaking to Cycling Weekly the clearly perfectionist Taylor said: “I missed some turns so had to redesign as I went. Still, you can see what it’s meant to be.”
