Brits expected to spend nearly £25bn on Christmas gifts

Britons are planning to spend £24.4 billion on Christmas gifts this year, according to research from RadiumOne.
On average, people are expected to spend about £489 with 25-34 year olds spending the most.
The report also said that among those who know how they’ll buy their gifts, 45 per cent plan to research and buy presents online while 13 per cent said they will do both research and shopping in-store.
