He lives in a pineapple under the sea but that’s not going to stop SpongeBob SquarePants from featuring in Channel 5’s upcoming Saturday morning Football League highlights show for children.

C5 is looking to make the most of its seizure of the TV rights to the Football League from the BBC with the franchise crossover aimed at kids. Viacom-owned Channel 5 will make use of Nickelodeon property Spongebob in a new show called Nick Kicks.
