Cheil Spain and Samsung create the ‘Blind Cap’ to aid Paralympic swimmers
Cheil Spain and Samsung Electronics have created a new swimming cap to aid blind Paralympic swimmers.
The disruptive headpiece, called the ‘Blind Cap’, will alert competitors as to when they have to flip turn at the end of the pool and commence another length.
The Bluetooth enabled cap vibrates when wearers are to flip and was developed with the Spanish Paralympic Committee.
The coach taps a prompt on their smartphone which communicates with the cap.
