Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and more lead Royal British Legion's Poppy Selfie social media campaign

To mark Armistice Day in the UK, the Royal British Legion enlisted social media users to take and share ‘Poppy Selfies’.

Running with an ad, boasting the likes of Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Alan Sugar, Olly Murs, Jessica Ennis-Hill and more, the campaign saw Twitter users share selfies offering their respects for fallen members of the armed forces.

At 8am today (11 November), The Royal British Legion and the Royal Navy Twitter accounts commenced the push to remind people to adhere to the two minute silence at 11am.
