Classic FM and Heart owner Global creates national charity for young people

Media and entertainment company Global has launched national charity, Global’s Make Some Noise, to award grants to children and young people affected by illness, disability, bereavement or lack of opportunity.

On-air activity began today across Global’s portfolio of commercial radio brands, which includes Capital, Heart, Classic FM, LBC, Smooth, XFM, Capital XTRA and Gold, and will continue over the coming weeks.

On 9 October Global’s Make Some Noise will hold a fundraising event (venue to be confirmed) with presenters from across Global brands,performers in music and entertainment, as well as Global’s clients and partners to raise money for the charity.
