To celebrate International Women’s Day, Coca-Cola and the government’s commission on women brought together 10,168 men and women to create the gender symbol for ‘women’, with the aim to break a world record.

“The women’s symbol puts a spotlight on how women are poised to become the social and economic powerhouses of the future,” Adel Tamano, the Coca-Cola Philippines vice president, said.

The men and women formed the giant symbol in Manila’s main public park, and it is expected that it will take about a week for the record to be confirmed by the Guinness World Records.
