Following a dam collapse in Brazil last November that killed a number of people and covered entire communities in mud, Grey Brazil wanted to do something to help rebuild the affected region.

In partnership with engineers and ecological brick factory Ecobrick, the agency created an initiative called ‘Bricks from Mariana’ to help clear the area, bring back jobs and rebuild houses. The effort has been voted by US Creative Works readers as Creative Work of the Week.

Essentially, the agency and its partners are using the same mud that destroyed the region of Mariana in Brazil to help rebuild it. Read full story ›
