The Daily telegraph, stalwart of the right-wing media, has vowed to ‘consign Labour to electoral oblivion’ by mounting a vigorous campaign in support of hard-left leadership candidate Jeremy Corbyn.

Describing Corbyn as a ‘voter-repellent’ socialist the paper is gleefully inviting its readers to back ‘Jezza’, despite being at odds with his views, after recent polling suggested that he may be pulling ahead of race favourite Andy Burnham to win the leadership.
