Sky Sports News may come fire from Ofcom for its coverage of the football transfer deadline day which saw swearing and a dildo attack broadcast on Monday.

Broadcast watchdog Ofcom said it received eight complains for cases of offensive language, likely perpetrated by fans involved in the background of reports.

The channel, led by Jim White who has become synonymous with UK football transfers, has claimed it received no direct complaints.
