With the presidential election less than three months away, Donald Trump has sunk more than $4m dollars into a TV ad that will run in key battleground states over the next few weeks as he attempts to get an edge up over Hillary Clinton.

The commercial, called ‘Two Americas: Immigration,’ marks the first time that the Republican candidate – who has largely depended on free media coverage throughout his presidential run – has spent money on television advertising in the general election.
