Presidential hopeful Donald Trump has initiated the second stage of his TV attack ads with an assault on GOP rival, senator Ted Cruz.

The Republican front runner, having released his first ad in January which is now absent from YouTube, is now on the offensive, hoping to weaken Cruz’s support with accusations that he “is a total hypocrite and, until recently, a Canadian citizen who may not even have a legal right to run for president”.
