Facebook looks to serve SME brands with first app for its ad platform

The social platform revealed the Ad Manager app on its company blog today (24 Feb), which it claims will allow small or medium businesses to manage and create Facebook ads on the go.

Facebook claims that the tool will allow marketers to view ad results, create and edit ads, get notifications and keep track of spending.

Ciaran Quilty, SME regional director EMEA, told Marketing Week: “The decision to create an app for our ad manager has been largely due to demand from SME’s. We heard from small and medium sized businesses that they want the tools to be more mobile friendly.”
