Family angered as O2 sell off dead grandmother’s mobile number

A family grieving for a deceased grandmother have been angered by their mobile phone company after it sold off her mobile number to another firm.
As part of the grieving process the family had buried her mobile phone alongside her to allow them to continue to communicate through text messages, but received a fright when a reply apparently emanated from six feet under.
The message from beyond the grave lodged itself in the inbox granddaughter Sheri Emerson who received the message: “I’m watching over you. You’ll get through this. You’ll be all right.”
