TradeNext has signed Abbas Farid, one of the world’s top freestyle footballers, as ‘the Search for an Asian Football Star’ ambassador on the eve of the scheme’s first heat at Wembley stadium later this month.

The hunt for the UK’s best Asain footballer will kick off at England’s national stadium on the 27 September and will travel to Birmingham and Manchester throughout October.

The Welsh Farid, who is of Pakistani descent, has been branded as the king of freestyle football, most notably performing with Ronaldhino at AC Milan’s San Siro six years ago.
