Digital giant Google has teamed up with professional services firm PwC to open a joint Belfast base serving the whole of Northern Ireland – a European first.

The partnership, which has been in place since last year, will seek to encourage more local businesses to make use of Google’s software by establishing a Google Lab within PwC’s existing HQ at Waterfront Plaza.

Paul Terrington, PwC’s regional chairman, said: “Looking to the future, our Google Lab alliance will substantially increase our ability to attract and deliver new global client solutions from Belfast.”
