Google says people are turning to long-form content as John Lewis crowned its most popular 2015 ad

The data, revealed by Google, has four Christmas retail ads in its top 10 leaderboard, with the tech brand stating that the most successful ads of 2015 all shared common threads of ‘humour, emotion, and drama”.
John Lewis’s Christmas campaign topped the list followed by Sainsbury’s and its festive ‘Mog’s Christmas’ commercial. The table (below) is dominated by retailers and car brands.
