GoPro and Twitter’s Periscope are set to take users under the sea today (3 March) by hosting a real-time underwater livestream with great hammerhead sharks.

The event follows the pair’s announcement back in January, in which they revealed that they’d decided to team up to broadacst real-time streams to viewers directly from the action cam firm’s devices.

At the time, many commentators predicted that the duo’s main focus would be around extreme sports due to GoPro’s established partnerships with brands such like the X Games.
