Harry Styles and Beyonce see The 2014 Brit Awards achieve record Twitter audience of over 4m tweets

The Brit Awards 2014 generated a record breaking 4 million tweets during the live transmission of this year’s programme.

Analytics firm SecondSync tweeted its statistics from the evening, claiming that it had generated more than twice the number of tweets than during the previous year, while also reaching a record peak of 78,000 tweets per second.
