A spoof Barbie Instagram account charting the glamorous life of a hipster version of the famous doll has been brought to an end by its creator, Darby Cisneros, after declaring her ‘work here is done’.

SocialityBarbie had built up a loyal following of 1.3m drawn to the steady diet of tongue in cheek postings designed to poke fun at ‘ridiculous’ Instagram trends of millennial hipsters feigning authenticity through stage managed photos.
