After 12 years of global robot peace, hit 90’s mechanoid conflict show Robot Wars is to return to UK screens with BBC taking the reigns again.

The announcement quickly became the top trending topic on Twitter in the UK on Wednesday. Naturally, brands were looking to get involved in the chatter for free exposure and association to the well-remembered show.
