How Webby Award winners including Tinder, Tumbr and Vice delivered their five-word acceptance speeches

The 19th Annual Webby Awards saw a whole host of stars granted recognition for their works in the online realm last night at Cipriani Wall Street.

Winners were tasked with making a five word acceptance speech, below are some of the best remarks.

Upon winning Webby Breakout of the Year, dating app Tinder said: “Thank you for swiping right.”

WIRED co-founders Louis Rossetto and Jane Metcalfe picked up the Webby Award for Lifetime Achievement, they remarked: “Remember. It’s all just prelude.”

HuffPost Live: “Sold stock. Pre-Verizon. F***”

Vice’s Simon Ostrovsky (pictured): “We won 11 of these.”

Metropolitan Museum of Art: “B**ch better have my Monet.”
