Ikea transforms kids’ drawings into soft toys in Save the Children and Unicef charity drive

Ikea has channelled the creativity of children to raise money for Unicef education projects and Save the Children following a nationwide design competition.

The Swedish home store enlisted kids to create draw, what they thought, would make suitable soft toys, whittling down hundreds of entries into a handful of winners.

Through the annual competition, which ran from 18 October to 19 December 2015, Ikea pledges to donate a Euro to the selected charities for each plushie sale made.
