Infographic: Uber driver diversity breakdown – 14% female and more
Uber has released its first set of data granting insight into its drivers across the globe.
The taxi-hailing app commissioned Benenson Strategy Group to interview 601 of its drivers across Uber’s 20 markets and found that a total of 78 per cent expressed satisfaction with the Uber platform – especially newcomers and part timers.
The firm found that 14 per cent of its drivers were female and 86 per cent male. Furthermore. Half were married, 46 per cent had kids and a quarter were using their income to financially support parents or relatives.
