Initiative receives global recognition for workplace innovation

Initiative, a communications arm within Interpublic Group (IPG) media brands, has received the Workplace Innovation award from the International Facilities Management Associates for its newly renovated global headquarters in New York.
Initiative’s 10,000 square foot midtown office space was designed by Ted Moudis & Associates and features a completely open concept with “unassigned” employee seating.
“When we set out to design our new headquarters, we wanted an office that reflected our culture and core behaviors but also redefined what a media agency should look and feel like,” said Peter Mears, president and chief of Initiative North America.
