iPhone 5 is the most widely used iOS smartphone on the verge of Apple's next-gen event

The iPhone 5 was found to be Apple’s most widely-used smartphone, accounting for over a quarter of all the firm’s devices, according to a report by analytics firm Localytics.

With Apple set to announce its next generation of devices on Tuesday, with the iPhone 6 and iWatch touted to make an appearance, Localytics released a study of over 100 million iPads and iPhones taken last month.
